Commissioning a painting is easy. All I need to work on is your favourite photographs which can be sent via e-mail
If I feel that the photographs are not detailed enough I may have to visit you with my camera to take some close up shots. The more details I have the better the finished painting.
If the painting is to be a surprise for someone or is of a posthumous subject I will try to work with what you have.
We can then discuss the pose and background etc. Once we have agreed on the price and approximate completion date I will start the painting.
When the painting is complete I can arrange for you to view it in person, or if that is not convenient I can send you a copy via e-mail for your approval. If you are sure you are completely satisfied at this stage the painting can be collected or delivered. I do not expect any payment until you are happy with the painting.
